We serve Castro Valley, Oakland, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Dublin, with extended service to surrounding East Bay communities for an additional travel fee.
What is the cost of services?
How much does in-home euthanasia cost?
In-home euthanasia costs $560. The visit includes gentle sedation, the euthanasia procedure, a personalized clay paw print, grief and pet-loss resources, and notification to your family veterinarian. A full two-hour appointment window is reserved so you never feel rushed. Cremation is additional: individual cremation is $350–$410 depending on weight, and communal cremation is $200–$250. Evening, weekend, and holiday appointments add $150.
How much does an in-home consultation cost?
An initial in-home consultation costs $750 for a 2.5-hour visit covering palliative care, hospice care, and chronic pain management. It includes a review of medical records, a quality-of-life evaluation, a thorough physical exam, and a customized care plan, plus two weeks of ongoing support by email, phone, or text. Follow-up visits are $450 during the first week or during an active care relationship, and $500 after the first two weeks without one. Ongoing active care is available at $180 per month.
How much does an online quality of life assessment cost?
An online quality of life assessment costs $250 for up to 1.5 hours with Dr. Ma. It includes a consultation on your pet's quality-of-life score, a discussion of end-of-life care options, and a customized care plan. If the assessment runs beyond 1.5 hours, overtime is $75 per 30-minute interval.
